To date, email has been the primary cyber-attack vector on organizations, with more than 90% of attacks starting with emails. The proliferation of organizational collaboration tools and cloud applications has created a new fast growing attack surface that can be exploited by hackers and is not protected by existing security products.

Most existing email security solutions are unable to face modern attack vectors at scale, while keeping business operations unharmed. We identified Perception Point, a provider of a Prevention as-a-Service platform as the best solution available that defends against all content-based attacks across all organizational communication channels.

There are three main reasons that drove us to believe Perception Point is perfectly positioned to capture the rapidly growing yet untapped messaging and collaboration market:

· Superior Product and Technology — Perception Point developed a unique detection engine that is second to none in terms of detection, speed, and coverage. Its 7-layer security engine is able to analyze 100% of traffic and detect malicious files and URLs in a matter of seconds. This allows Perception Point to protect its customers across all types of instant communication and collaboration channels (Outlook, Gmail, Dropbox, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, and more) without sacrificing productivity or user experience. In addition, the products’ cloud-native and API-based architecture enable fast integration and frictionless onboarding that requires no change to current workflows or network configuration.

· Outstanding Service — The company’s Incident Response (IR) team offers 24/7 customer support that is essentially a SOC extension with an uncompromised service level. Customers shared with us that Perception Point’s IR team resulted in a significant work reduction for their IT department, which improved overall responsiveness, employee satisfaction, and operational productivity.

· Exceptional team — Led by Yoram Salinger, a seasonal entrepreneur that sold his first company, Red Bend, for US $250M and co-founders, Shlomi Levin and Michael Aminov, who both served in the IDF elite intelligence unit, Perception Point’s leadership is well equipped to lead the company through its hyper-growth period. We were also deeply impressed by the senior management team, which brings over a decade of product, finance, marketing, and sales experience. Together, we are confident in the team’s ability to execute on its strategy and build a valuable company.

We are thrilled to join forces with the company and the other investors and look forward to supporting the team during its next phase of growth.
